NSCDC Arrests Four Women For Drugging Friend In Jigawa

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Jigawa State Command, yesterday arrested four women on the suspicion of using drugs to sedate one of their friends and dumped her beside the road in Takur area of Dutse metropolis.

dado, who disclosed this to journalists, said his men on patrol sighted a woman who was lying by the road side around 11 pm and took her to the hospital where the woman was revived and later revealed that she was drugged by her friends and dumped by the road side as punishment.

The victim, who gave her name as Shamsiyya Ado, while narrating her ordeal to newsmen, said they used to be friends before they quarrelled and parted ways, adding that when they called for reconciliation, she thought it was genuine but unknown to her, they gave her drink that contained drugs substance, beat her up and dumped her by the road side.
